About Arusha

Arusha is the safari capital of Tanzania and the gateway city for the northern circuit parks — Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara. Situated at 1,400 m beneath the slopes of Mount Meru, the city enjoys a pleasant temperate climate year-round. The town centre is compact and walkable, with a lively market, good restaurants and a concentration of tour operators. Most northern Tanzania safaris begin and end here.
